Day 22- Phase 1- Artists’ Backyard- Only odds and ends left. Water infiltration measurement device installed in between the oaks. Concrete poured to transition Phase 1 walk to the existing walk in preparation for Phase 2 in 2012!

Day 21- Phase 1- Artists’ Backyard- The crew puts the finishing touches on the project. Installing grates that cross the walkway atop the runnels and crossing items off the punch list.

Day 20- Phase 1- Artists’ Backyard- Planting day arrives! The planting group worked late and got in early to get ready for the crew to come in and get plants in the ground. Thanks to the generous friends and family who came in to lend a hand.

Day 19- Phase 1- Artists’ Backyard- stalite mixed with compost is installed into the BMP’s. Finishing touches are made in several areas. Flagstone is mortared in. Finally, plants are placed at the end of the day. The plants crew work until dark and got to the site bright and early to prepare for the big day!

Day 18- Phase 1- Artists’ Backyard- Air spading of compacted roots. Pervious walkway covered to prevent debris from clogging the system. The video was cut short due to camera malfunction.
